Two-Time Hot Rod Drag Week winner and the 2013 NMCA Pro Mod Championship, Jeff Lutz is an American reality star famous for his appearance in discovery channel’s Street Outlaws. He is mostly known for his 1957 Chevrolet Belair popularly called “The Beast”. He has also made a name for himself because of the Hot Rod Drag Week record he currently holds which has made his 1969 Pro Mod Camaro “Mad Max” the fastest street driven pro mod in the world.

His life in racing dates back to when his father bought him his first car; a 74’ Nova Hatchback. However, during his teenage years, the car was confiscated when he was caught driving it without a license. He is the sole owner of a 1969 Pro Mod Camaro which is commonly referred to as “Mad Max”and a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air with twin 88mm Precision turbos known as “The 57”. The new car was built in 2016/2017 with his son. The car debuted in the 3rd annual Tri- Five Nationals in Bowling Green, KY in August 2017. Jeff has been filming with the The 57 on Street Outlaws and No Prep Kings since the debute of the car. He currently holds a spot on the list of Street Outlaws and gone to the semi finals mutiple times and claimed a win on No Prep Kings.

Away from his full-time career, Jeff Lutz is also a husband and father. He has a daughter, Charise and a son Jeffrey Jr. His son is currently in his mid-twenties and has followed in his father’s footsteps. He is also a street racer. Jeff Lutz was married to the beautiful Christine on July 31st,1989 and has stayed happily married to her for over 2 decades.
